Crime and Safety

• 30 new Police Officers since 2020
• 11 new Alternate Response Officers
• Pushing the province for new shelters and services for mental health and addictions to make our city safe for all.

Safety

• Voted 95 times to reduce spending and/or cut taxes during 2023 budget deliberations
• Voted AGAINST 2024/25 budget because tax increase was TOO HIGH

Roads

• $72 Million on roads in 2024 ($78 Million in 2025)
• Roads were neglected for years, but with our "Building Better Roads Program" we have a 20 year plan to pave every road in the city. In 10 years we’ve made progress but have a long way to go.

Snow Removal

• 2 city-wide snow removal (2021 & 2023)
• 1 city-wide snow plowing (2024)
• 1 residential ice rut shaving (2022)

• Focus on Core Services for everyone: Police, Fire, Roads, Parks
