Randy is honoured to have worked for the residents of Ward 5 for the past several years. During his time on Council he has attempted to reduce spending, including dozens of votes against tax increases during budget debate, though many of those votes were lost. Crime, safety, and improving the quality of life for our residents has been a focus, which includes the homeless.

Anyone who knows Randy appreciates his seasoned leadership, fiscal accountability, and genuine approachability. Randy is an attentive listener who is never too busy to hear his residents' concerns, often driving all over the ward to see a person's issue first hand.

Happily married for 35 years, Randy and Lauren raised their three sons in Ward 5 and continue to live here. Randy is grateful to serve our community in any capacity that he can, believing that Saskatoon is the best city in Canada.
