AS YOUR COUNCILLOR I WILL...
- CONTINUE INCREASING FUNDING FOR ROAD MAINTENANCE
- PROMOTE RESPONSIBLE DEVELOPMENT IN OUR CITY
- SUPPORT INITIATIVES THAT PROMOTE PROSPERITY
- PROVIDE RESPONSIBLE STEWARDSHIP OF YOUR TAX DOLLARS
FINANCES:
We must focus on responsible stewardship of your tax dollars. Randy will ensure fiscal responsibility and accountability.
ROADS:
We must focus on the basics. Since Randy joined Council, $4.1 Million was added to road maintenance in 2012. Randy will push for steady increases to our road maintenance budget so we can see improvement in our road network in Saskatoon.
CRIME AND SAFETY:
Our Police Service has implemented initiatives that have caused crime rates to drop in Saskatoon over the past several years. Randy will give our oficers the resources and support they need to do their job, and provide a safe and secure place for our families.
TRAFFIC:
Randy will continue to advocate for a North Bridge and Perimeter Road, as well as a new commuter bridge. We have seen significant progress in the past year, but we must keep moving forward to see these projects completed as soon as possible. These additional river crossings will allow more traffic to flow between the North East and North West side of our city, taking pressure off Circle Dr N, Attridge, Warman Rd, Millar Avenue, and 51st Street.
GROWTH:
Saskatoon is on the verge of greatness, ready to emerge as an economic and cultural leader in Canada. Randy will proceed with a pro-growth agenda, while realizing that we also need to focus on the basics and improve our infrastructure.
